Leatherstocking Morgans was started in 1996 with the purchase of our first "Courage of Equinox" filly foal. Our hope for her was to be a beautiful, classy mount that the whole family could enjoy. We liked her so much, that the following year we bought another.

As time went on, it became apparent that these two fillies were developing into horses that far exceeded the quality we had expected. Our plan to breed them, when they were of age, was set in stone!

A few years later, we purchased a gorgeous stud colt by "Aljaks Double Whammy" out of a "Tedwin Topic" mare. He has proven himself, time and time again, by producing foals that are everything a Morgan should be.
